- The Administrative Decisions Tribunal reviews administrative decisions of NSW government agencies. It hears appeals from certain decisions of the Guardianship Tribunal. This website provides information about ADT procedures and powers.

- Aged Care Assessment Teams
- Every area of Australia has an aged care assessment team, made up of experienced aged care professionals including doctors, social workers and nurses. The local ACAT has information on a variety of services. Usually, a referral from your doctor to the ACAT is needed for services to be provided.

- Centrelink
- Centrelink may be able to make payments to a family member or friend nominated by the person who is entitled to the Centrelink payment. This may help family or relatives manage the person's finances without the need for a formal financial management order.

- Community justice centres
- These provide mediation and conflict management to help people resolve their own disputes. This service - which is free, confidential, voluntary and easy to use - is useful for families who disagree about what should happen for a person who cannot make their own decisions.

- Council of Australasian Tribunals
- This national body of Commonwealth, state and New Zealand tribunals establishes a national forum for discussion, training and information for tribunal members. The Guardianship Tribunal is a member of COAT.

- This Commonwealth department offers a range of services for veterans and their families, including pensions, medical and home care services, support supplements, loans and advice.

- Legal Aid NSW
- The NSW Legal Aid Commission, an independent statutory body, provides legal aid and other legal services to disadvantaged people in NSW. The Commission may grant legal aid to pay for legal costs or the Commission may provide free legal services.

- Legal Aid NSW - Mental Health Advice
- The Mental Health Advocacy Service (MHAS) provides free legal advice and assistance about mental health law. We represent people in hearings that relate to their detention and treatment in hospitals and the community, and the management of their money. - Office of the Protective Commissioner
- The Guardianship Tribunal may appoint the Protective Commissioner to administer the financial affairs and property of people with a decision-making disability. The Office of the Protective Commissioner also supervises and supports individuals or trustee companies who have been appointed as financial managers.

- Office of the Public Guardian
- The Guardianship Tribunal may appoint the Public Guardian as the guardian of a person 16 years and over with a decision-making disability. The Office of the Public Guardian also has a Private Guardians Support Unit that offers information and support to private guardians.

- Public Trustee of NSW
- The Public Trustee can act as an independent and impartial executor, administrator and trustee for the NSW residents. They can assist in the making of wills, financial estate planning and administration, and the making of powers of attorney.

- Aged Care Rights Service
- The Aged Care Rights Service is an advocacy service for older residents living in supported accommodation in NSW. This organisation offers free legal advice, advocacy and negotiation services for people coming before the Residential Tenancies Tribunal and the Guardianship Tribunal.
